the mundane.
I cannot say enough about Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane. The staff was wonderful, there was plenty of support from the chaplains (she even found a phone charger for me!) and there were lots of people spaces. I found several rooms to go and be alone in. There were a couple walkways that Lindsey could run up and down, and he never failed to put a smile on passerby's faces, including staff. There was a living room sized space to sit and talk in, so we got to know a few other people and their medical histories. It amazed me that they cared so much for someone that was dying, even putting moisturizer on eyes that would never see again.
While I was at the hospital in Spokane, my back NEVER EVER bothered me. Even while picking Lindsey up off the floor, or bending down to buckle him into the stroller. I attribute this to:
a) an extremely firm mattress at the hotel (which had a contract with the hospital)
b) following Lindsey around all the time
c) divine intervention.
Too bad that God prefers we grow up and do things wisely..
